MISSION

Redemption, Inc. is committed to encouraging the educational advancement of underserved youth ages 13-19 in the Brooklyn area. Redemption boosts self-esteem, alleviates economic inequality and prevents the deferment of dreams through various educational platforms and community advocacy.

Who We Are

Redemption is committed to working with young people (ages 13-19) and their families with the college application process, promoting a positive self-image, and getting them involved in their communities. Workshops, one-on-one mentoring programs, and other community events allow Redemption to illustrate the benefits of education and social involvement. Many of today’s youth and their families are unaware of the opportunities that higher education, as well as other positive outlets, can create for them. 

 We are a group of college graduates, who are Working together to reclaim our responsibility to rebuild our communities by redirecting our focus to youth issues in an effort to create a culture of social consciousness within the community. 

The Redemption Inc. team is constantly building new relations and feeding the youth with an abundant amount of information (jobs, scholarships, events, etc...).
